Dr. Gabriela Aguileta

I am an evolutionary biologist interested in using phylogenetics, statistics, and bioinformatics to answer complex questions regarding the evolution of molecules, genomes, and ultimately organisms.

I like to think that we can study and integrate the different levels of complexity that drive evolution: from the molecular changes that shape genomic structure and function, to the responses of organisms to challenging environmental changes.
